S&F Design Changes (Administrative Note)

Regular readers may have noticed certain design changes made recently to S&F. We've been switched over to the new TypePad platform, and it's by and large a pleasure to use, and an improvement over the old platform. However, the TypePad software engineers seem to have forgotten those of us who format our posts using a justified paragraph alignment (i.e., no "ragged" right margin), and so all our past posts have been forced to a left-aligned format because there's no "Justify" option on the template's drop-down format menu. We're quite unhappy about that, but can do nothing about it other than point out the omission to the TypePad tech team. We're hoping it was merely a design oversight on their part that will be corrected in the very near future. We make note of this here for the benefit of those S&F readers who may have wondered at that particular aspect of the S&F design change, and to inform them it was not done by intent. [Update (11/1): TypePad has just fixed this oversight and all our past posts are now formatted correctly.]
