"Live From Lincoln Center" Retrospective

Was anyone as appalled as I at the PBS "Live From Lincoln Center" 30-year retrospective, a tape of which I just finished watching? It was nothing other than a pop-culture, prole-pandering fraud. From what was included, anyone not familiar with the series would have guessed that over the past 30 years "Live From Lincoln Center" was a sort of serial vaudeville show with a mix of pop and pops concerts with but the merest smattering of genuine classical music concerts and ballet thrown in just to keep up appearances.

A bloody outrage.
