Tresa Waggoner, the Colorado music teacher whose attempts to introduce local children to opera drew a storm of [parental] criticism [for her screening for the children a video of Gounod's Faust, which screening, the complaining parents asserted, promoted Devil worship and homosexuality], has decided to take legal action after being forced to take administrative leave from the Bennett School.
Those Colorado parents would have had a better and more sympathetic case had they instead censured Ms. Waggoner, and forced her to take administrative leave from the Bennett School, for wantonly, and with willful disregard of their welfare, exposing their children to trash art.
