Properly Displaying Sounds & Fury
(Updated: 12 October 2009)
Sounds & Fury is
best displayed on a machine with the following specifications:
OS: Windows XP or later,
with standard TrueType font set including, most particularly, the following
fonts:
» Georgia
» Arial
» Times New Roman
» Trebuchet MS
» Verdana Ref
Browser: Microsoft Internet
Explorer 6 or later with text-size parameter set to the default normal (i.e., "Medium"), or Firefox 2 or later with text-size parameter also set to the default normal. For those using Internet Explorer 8, it's suggested for the time being that the browser be run in Compatibility Mode when viewing Sounds & Fury.
Monitor: Standard CRT type set
for 1024x768 resolution or greater, and using a 16-bit color palette or greater.
Displaying Sounds &
Fury on machines with other specifications will more likely than not produce a
"look" unintended and not accounted for. Further, any browser that
does not fully support the XHTML 1.0 Transitional Document Type (DTD) using
UTF-8 encoding, and with mixed valid XHTML 1.0 and deprecated HTML 4.01 tags
will likely not be able to display Sounds & Fury properly.
